幣舞橋 / Nusamai Bridge

幣舞橋(位於釧路市)作為釧路市的象徵場所之一,於1889年架設完成。初代的橋是木造的,而現今的橋是於1976年所完成的第五代的橋,以堅固的現代風格建造。橋上設有代表著春夏秋冬的4座雕像。橋底下流著釧路川,在其堤防內的公園也有沿著河川的長距離散步道路。幣舞橋也以觀賞夕陽的著名景點而著名。

Nusamai Bridge (Kushiro City) was built in 1889, and is one of the symbolic places of the city. The first Nusamai Bridge was made of wood. The present, or fifth Nusamai Bridge is made of concrete and is still strong although it was constructed in 1976. It uses modern design, and four sculptures are installed on the bridge. Each of the four sculptures is given a season: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The Kushiro River runs under the bridge and the banks either side are parks which you can walk through. This bridge is also famous as a spot for viewing the sunset.

釧路漁人碼頭EGG / Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf EGG

釧路漁人碼頭EGG( 位於釧路市)是像室內植物園般的場所,位於MOO(綜合商業設施)的隔壁。EGG是Ever Green Garden(常綠花園)的簡稱,雖然是在冬天很長的釧路,但在EGG可保持整年的溫暖室溫。是充滿著花朵與綠意的休息場所。可免費入場參觀,內部也設有椅子。偶爾也會在裡面舉辦小型演唱會。

Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf EGG (Kushiro City) is an indoor public area with abundant greenery. Its shape is like a big egg built with glass. It is a glassed-in botanical garden with free admission. EGG is connected to MOO which is a commercial complex for shopping and eating. EGG is an acronym for ‘evergreen garden.’ Although winter in Kushiro is long and cold, the temperature in the building is kept warm year round and visitors can see flowers and green trees any season. Visitors can spend a relaxing, peaceful time here because chairs are provided too. Sometimes free music concerts are held here.



釧路漁人碼頭MOO / Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf MOO

釧路漁人碼頭MOO( 位於釧路市)是靠近觀光景點-幣舞橋的綜合商業設施。一樓是進駐有土特產品商店等的購物區域,2樓與3樓除了有飲食店之外,還有介紹釧路地區的市町村的土特產品或是觀光景點的觀光情報中心。MOO的發音所包含的涵義有意謂著未來的夢,以及代表釧路夏天的霧氣。

Kushiro Fisherman's Wharf MOO (Kushiro City) is a commercial complex located near Nusamai Bridge, which is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kushiro District. Its first floor is a shopping area with various types of shops, including souviner shops. The second and third floors, contain mostly restaurants and there is also a tourist information center. The information center exhibits local specialties and products from municipalities in the district and provides sightseeing information. MOO derives from "dream" and "fog - usually seen in summer" of Japanese words. Also, "M" stands for marina and "OO" stands for our oasis.





在紀伊國屋書店札幌總店的藝廊 / Kinokuniya Sapporo Bookshop Gallery

在紀伊國屋書店札幌總店的藝廊(位於札幌市中央區) ,主要會展示為期一周或兩周的展覽會。2樓的一部分區域是藝廊,隔壁是Starbucks咖啡廳。紀伊國屋書店是日本最大型的連鎖書店之一。札幌總店位於JR札幌車站的隔壁。舉辦著從陶藝到宛如跳出書面般的立體繪本等各種主題的展覽會。

Kinokuniya Sapporo Bookshop Gallery (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) regularly holds one or two week long exhibitions. The gallery is located on the corner of the second floor, next to Starbucks coffee shop. Kinokuniya is one of the biggest bookshop chains in Japan, and the Hokkaido flagship store is Kinokuniya Sapporo next to JR Sapporo Station. This gallery is free to enter, and they have a variety of exhibitions from traditional Japanese pottery to pop-up picture books for children. They sometimes also hold cultural events in the public area on the first floor.


Marimo手湯 / Marimo-no Teyu: a small onsen (hot springs) for the hands

Marimo手湯(位於釧路市)是阿寒湖溫泉街中的免費景點。湧出天然溫泉水,是泡手專用的設施。可以於散步時暖和一下雙手。此外,那裡有模仿阿寒湖的特別天然紀念物Marimo(綠球藻)模樣的球型石造雕刻裝飾在此。其中一個石造雕刻據說摸了就會帶來好運,被稱作為幸運石。

Marimo-no Teyu (Kushiro City) is located in the town of Lake Akan Hot Springs, and this facility is a small onsen (hot springs) for the hands. Natural and pure hot spring water flows out and visitors can warm their hands while taking a stroll round the town. Stone-made carvings resembling balls are on show there. They depict the marimo (called round green alga or moss ball) which is designated as a special natural treasure in Japan. It is believed that a person who touches one of these stones will find happiness. Hence the stones are named the Happy Stones.

TO•OV•Cafe / TO OV Cafe

TO•ON•咖啡廳(招牌標示為TO•OV•Cafe/位於札幌市中央區)兼設有免費入場的藝廊。從2008年開店以來,店內聚集著札幌的設計師,藝術家,以及喜好藝術作品的人。除了畫作以外,也展示著雕刻作品。雖然說藝廊是免費參觀的,但也請至少點杯飲料吧!

TO-ON Cafe is phonetically spelt with the actually name of their cafe reading TO OV Cafe - (Sapporo City Chuo-ku). They feature a free gallery . This cafe opened in October 2008, and has been popular among designers, artists and art lovers since then. Not only paintings, but also other artwork such as sculptures are exhibited there. The gallery is free of charge, and it is nice to buy a drink and take your time browsing the artwork. They close every other Monday to change exhibits. It is near Nakajima Koen station on the .Nanboku subway Line.




你的椅子·工房學舍 / "This is your chair" Project Exhibition Room

你的椅子·工房學舍(位於札幌市中央區)在北海道文化財團所在大樓的2樓。送給剛出生的嬰兒一腳刻有姓名的椅子的活動發起地是從東川町開始的。椅子包含著「謝謝你誕生於這個世界上,屬於你的地方在這裡唷」的含義。椅子每年的設計都會改變,這裡展示著歷代設計的椅子。

"This is your chair" Project Exhibition Room (Sapporo City, Chuo-ku) is on the second floor of the same building where Hokkaido Arts Foundation is. The representative town or village gives a wooden chair to a baby when he/she is born, and his/her name is inscribed on it. This started in Higashikawa Town, with four more towns in Hokkaido and a town in Nagano Prefecture following. The meaning and heart of this project is to give a message to a baby - "Thank you for being my child. Your place is here." The design differs every year. All models are exhibited in this room.




札幌市出土文物中心 / Sapporo Buried Cultural Properties Center

札幌市出土文物中心(位於札幌市中央區)展示著在札幌市內所挖掘出的遺跡(居所、墓地)和器具類(土器與石器)。在2萬5千年前於北海道的土地上有人類居住於此。也展示著貴重的土偶(土製的人偶)和遠古時代的聚落模型。地點位於札幌市中央圖書館的一樓。休館日是週六及週日、日本國定假日和年假期間。參觀免費。

Sapporo Buried Cultural Properties Center (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) exhibits archeological information of ancient house and grave sites, as well as tools which include earthenware and stone implements which were excavated in Sapporo. On the island of Hokkaido, humans existed 25000 years ago. At this center, there is a very important earthen-made doll which is categorized as 'doguu', and miniature models of ancient villages showing their daily life. This center is in Sapporo Municipal Central Library. The streetcar is a convenient way to get there. They are closed on the weekend and over the New Year period. Admission is free.






北海道文化財團 / Hokkaido Arts Foundation

北海道文化財團(位於札幌市中央區)是為了實現可實際感受到北海道民的心靈豐富的社會而設立的機構。支援著各式各樣有關文化、藝術、生活的活動。在與大通美術館同棟大樓的3樓是財團的事務所,事務所的一部份作為展覽空間而公開。展示著北海道的作家的作品,參觀免費。

Hokkaido Arts Foundation (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) was established in 1994 to help create a society where people can enrich their minds. They support various activities related to culture, art, and life style, and their office is on the third floor of the building which houses Gallery Odori Museum (which anyone can enter for free.) A part of their office is called Art Space, and exhibits artwork created by Hokkaido artists. Admission for Art Space is free. They publish a free magazine every three months, focusing on artists and activities they have supported.

Yume Port

Yume Port (位於石狩市)是石狩的觀光諮詢中心。內也有販賣石狩產的加工食品以及蔬菜的商店。也有販賣石狩市的吉祥物「鮭太郎、鮭子」的周邊商品。石狩川從前就有鱘魚會洄游、館內有鱘魚的大型標本。夏季期間可以免費租借自行車。除了年末年初假期之外,全年無休。

Yume Port (Ishikari City) has a tourist information center located in the town of Ishikari Beach. There is a shop which sells Ishikari's local specialties (processed foods, beverages, and fresh vegetables.) They proudly show off their local characters, "Sake-taro" and "Sake-ko". Sake stands for salmon in and "taro" and "ko" are traditional suffixes to denote male and female. Sturgeon come to the Ishikari River to breed (its eggs are caviar), and a big, stuffed sturgeon is displayed in the center. In summer, people can use the center's bicycles for free. It is open every day except over New Year period.








Kita:Kara藝廊 / Kita Kara Gallery

Kita:Kara藝廊(位於札幌市中央區)與大通美術館在同一棟大樓內,2014年3月開張的。Kita在日語中意謂著北方,其中包含著從北方的大地北海道來傳播藝術與文化資訊的想法。此外,Kara是阿伊努族語的「製作」的意思。雖然是個小型藝廊,展覽會也頻繁在此舉辦。

Kita Kara Gallery (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) is located in the same building as Gallery Orori Museum. Kita Kara Gallery opened in March 2014 with a mission to promote sales activities. Kita means 'north' in English, and they chose this word because they wanted to spread Hokkaido's art-related and cultural information from this gallery. Also, Kara means 'to make' in Ainu language. The gallery isn't so big but they hold exhibitions frequently. Their art shop, which sells handy craft products and daily commodities, is next to this gallery.




藝廊大通美術館 / Gallery Odori Museum

藝廊大通美術館(位於札幌市中央區)是個著名的出租藝廊,不論專業或是業餘,舉辦著個人作家或是團體的展覽會。多時一週內輪流展出各式各樣主題的作品,因此不管何時到訪都會很有趣。同棟大樓內也有北海道文化財團和民營的藝廊。休館日是週一和年末年初。

Gallery Odori Museum (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) is a popular art exhibition venue in Sapporo where amateur and professional artists hold exhibitions. Both solo artists and group exhibitions can apply to use these rooms. As exhibitions are updated weekly as a rule, visitors can usually experience new artwork every time they visit the museum. The building which houses Gallery Odori Museum is known as a hub of art in Sapporo, because the Hokkaido Art Foundation and other galleries are in the building too. The museum is closed on Mondays and over the New Year period.

阿寒湖畔環境博物館中心 / Akankohan Eco Museum Center

阿寒湖畔環境博物館中心(位於釧路市)是阿寒湖主要觀光景點之一。是為了要向旅客介紹處於國立公園的阿寒湖有關的自然與生物的資訊的設施,由日本環境省營運的。內有展示於水槽中棲息在阿寒湖的魚類,以及特別天然紀念物的綠球藻。也有展示棕熊以及蝦夷鹿等的標本。入館參觀免費。

Akankohan Eco Museum Center (Kushiro City) is one of the highlights of tourism in the Akan area. The Ministry of the Environment manages this center in order to deliver information about flora and fauna seen around Lake Akan, which is one of Japan's national parks. In a big room, there are glass tanks containing fish found in the lake and Marimo, round green algae designated as a special natural treasure of Japan. Furthermore, a large stuffed higuma (brown bear) and ezoshika (Hokkaido deer) can be seen. A panoramic aerial photograph of Akan is displayed on the floor of the exhibition room. Admission is free.


















阿寒湖Marimu館 / Akanko Marimu Kan

阿寒湖Marimu館(位於釧路市)是面向本地居民的文化中心兼觀光旅遊資訊中心。館內放置有免費的地圖與導覽手冊。另外也設有桌椅免費提供給遊客疲累時休息。入口處也有常時湧出溫泉的手浴與足浴設施(免費使用)。在閱覽區放置許多與阿寒湖有關的書籍。

Akanko Marimu Kan (Kushiro City), which is located in the town of Lake Akan Hot Springs, is a culture center for local people and also a tourist information center. Tourist maps and other brochures are available for free. As there are tables and chairs, visitors can have a rest after meandering around the town. In front of the building, there is a place where you can enjoy teyu (hot springs for hands) and ashiyu (hot springs for feet), with a constant stream of fresh mineral water flowing. As an aside, there are a lot of books related to Lake Akan in the library.






阿寒湖 / Lake Akan

阿寒湖(位於釧路市)是道東代表性的觀光地,也有阿寒湖溫泉。在溫泉街也有建設完備的可以邊散步邊嘹望湖面的步道。在步道上有被稱作Bokke的景點。Bokke的語源是阿伊努語的Pohuke(煮沸之意)。地底下是二氧化碳,在泥沼浮起成為氣泡。阿寒湖中生長著特別天然紀念物的Marimo(綠球藻)。

Lake Akan (Kushiro City) is one of the highlights of eastern Hokkaido tourism. There is a hot spring town on the lake - Lake Akan Hot Springs. There is a walking path along the lake where people can enjoy seeing the lake itself and also the nature of the hot springs town. Visitors can also find Bokke, a well known sightseeing spot, at the end of the path. The name Bokke is derived from "pofuke (boil)" which is a word in Ainu language. At Bokke, you can see bubbling mud ponds because of carbonic acid gas. Marimo (round green algae) is a special natural treasure of Japan, and can be seen on an island in the middle of the lake. You can get a boat to the island from the main wharf.





北海道立綜合體育中心 / Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center “Hokkai KITAYELL”

北海道立綜合體育中心(位於札幌市豐平區)被愛稱為「北海KITAYELL」。它是籃球隊LEVANGA北海道,以及五人制足球隊ESPOLADA北海道的根據地。館內有免費參觀的運動相關資料室。除了有出生於北海道的奧運會出場選手們的紀錄與資料之外,也展示著相關紀念品。

Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center “Hokkai KITAYELL” (Sapporo City Toyohira-ku) is built for people to enjoy sports. There is a gymnasium and other sports-related facilities such as gym machines. Kitayell is the base of Levanga Hokkaido, who represent Hokkaido in Japan's basketball league. It is also the base for Espolada Hokkaido who compete in Japan's futsal - room football- league. There is a library like a museum in the building, showing results and a range of information about athletes from Hokkaido who have participated in past Olympic Games and displays different equipment that athletes used. This library is free of charge.
