定山溪水庫下游園地 / Jozankei Dam Downstream Park


比鄰於水庫的水泥高牆旁的是定山溪水庫下游園地(位於札幌市南區)。園內有由小石子所構成的細小且淺的水路沿著步道流動著。聆聽著水流聲邊散步會使心情很愉悅。在水庫的水泥牆壁中有通道,即使是在盛夏很熱的時候通道內也十分涼爽。這裡也是秋天的賞楓聖地。從定山溪開車前往只要10分鐘。開放時期是在5月中旬~10月末。


Jozankei Dam Downstream Park (Sapporo City Minami-ku) is located below the Jozankei Dam. There is an artificial body of running water flowing past on a bed of pebbles. As a narrow, shallow watercourse runs along the path, it's soothing to hear the sound of the water while walking. There is also a long passage like a tunnel in the dam. It's cool inside even during mid summer. In autumn, beautiful colored leaves can be seen there. The park is about 10 minutes from Jozankei Hot Springs by car. It's open from the middle of May to the end of October.

大倉山展望台 / Okurayama View Point

在大倉山展望台(位於札幌市中央區)有跳臺滑雪的比賽場地。它也在1972年的冬季奧運會作為場地被使用,現在也在這裡舉行其他賽事。在頂端可以瞭望札幌市區。乘坐上山吊椅是需要付費,但只要爬樓梯上山的話參觀展望台是免費的(只限於夏季)。在斜坡處種有薰衣草田,也很賞心悅目。停車場免費。觀光客乘坐巴士前來也很方便。

Okurayama View Point (Sapporo City Chuo-ku) is located at Mt. Okura. This view point is a part of Okura Ski Jump Stadium. When the Sapporo Winter Olympic Games were held in 1972, this stadium was used, and is still used. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from the top. The chairlift requires payment, but it is free if visitors walk up using the stairs. The steep walking slope is only accessible during summer. There is a big lavender garden on the slope too. It is unique and fun for taking photos. Parking is free but going by bus is a useful option for tourists.

札幌田園主題公園SATOLAND / Sapporo Satoland

SATOLAND(位於札幌市東區)是一個廣大的田園主題樂園。在戶外有農業體驗、親近動物、參觀花園、以及烤肉活動等各式各樣的娛樂方法。室內設施則有豐富的自然、動物等學習資料。夏季有廣大的薰衣草田,也十分美麗。入園免費,可遊玩一整天。如果是租借腳踏車或是騎馬等戶外活動則需要另外收費。


Sapporo Satoland (Sapporo City Higashi-ku) is a vast leisure park which allows visitors to experience an agricultural and pastoral atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy experiences such as agriculture, seeing or touching farm animals, looking around beautiful gardens, and having barbecues outdoors. Also, they can enjoy learning about nature, plants, farm animals and even dairy products as there are a lot of study materials in the visitor center. In summer, the big, beautiful lavender garden is a highlight. There is no charge to enter. Attractions such as rental bicycle or horse riding do have a fee. Visitors can enjoy a whole day there.

Royce'玫瑰花園 / ROYCE Rose Garden

Royce'玫瑰花園位於Royce'Ainosato公園店的對面(Royce'是北海道著名的巧克力製造商)。圍繞著Royce'的巨大工廠種滿了玫瑰等花卉。開放參觀的期間是61日到9月中旬左右。參觀免費。此外Royce'Ainosato公園店除了甜點之外,也販賣鹹麵包,也設有用餐的空間。也提供免費的自行取用的咖啡給有消費的客人飲用。


ROYCE Rose Garden is located next to the ROYCE Ainosato Kouen ("park") branch-shop. Surrounding their confectionery factory is a range of roses, other beautiful flowers and shrubs which are beautifully planted in abundance. The design of the garden is well thought out, and its upkeep thorough, as it is always in a good condition. Admission is free and they are open from June 1 to the middle of September. In addition, they sell not only confectionery such as chocolate, but stuffed or dressed bread at the shop. There is a dining area for customers who buy bread from the shop, and self-service coffee is free.







定山溪鄉土(溫泉)博物館 / Jozankei Hot Spring Museum

在定山溪鄉土博物館(位於定山溪溫泉區)展示著定山溪珍貴的歷史資料。在這裏可以知道定山溪是如何發現到溫泉的以及如何繁榮起來的。過去還有鐵路在這裡運行。博物館本館位於定山溪小學的腹地內,要參觀的話需要向定山溪的旅遊諮詢中心拿鑰匙才能進去(免費參觀)。另外在旅遊諮詢中心也展示著幾件展示品。開館期間為5月~10月底為止。


Jozankei Hot Spring Museum exhibits valuable memorabilia related to the history of how the hot springs were discovered and how the town prospered. A railway line used to run from Shiroishi to Jozankei but it closed in 1969. Now, Jozankei is famous as Sapporo's onsen resort. The admission for this museum is free, but visitors have to get a card key to enter from Jozankei Tourist Information Center. The museum is located near the Jozankei Elementary School; while the information center also exhibits some items that are found in the museum. The museum opens from May to the end of October.






南澤神社 / Minamisawa Shrine

南澤神社(位於札幌市南區)內有日本薰衣草起源地紀念碑,同時設有薰衣草花圃。說到北海道的薰衣草最有名的地方是富良野,但是實際上日本最早栽培薰衣草的地方是在南澤。原產於法國的美麗紫色花朵現今已成為北海道夏季不可或缺的景色。南澤神社雖然不是一般的觀光景點但是想讓各位知道有這個地方的存在。

Minamisawa Shrine (Sapporo City, Minami-ku) is just a typical local shrine for its area, but there is something special about it. There is a monument to celebrate the birthplace of growing lavender in Japan. Lavender are also planted around the monument although it is not large. As for lavender in Hokkaido, Furano and the surrounding areas are the most well-known. However, Minamisawa is still a memorable place. Lavender originates in France, and was brought to Hokkaido to produce aromatic products. Now, lavender is seen in different places all over Hokkaido and their beautiful purple flowers are a commons sight in summer.

有島武郎故居 / Takeo Arishima's Residence


有島武郎故居是於1985年時從北海道大學附近搬遷到札幌藝術之森。有島武郎是活躍於20世紀初的近代日本文學的代表小說家。有島武郎雖然出身在東京但有很長一段時間以札幌為據點活動,以札幌為舞台的作品也很多。故居的外觀是紅色的牆壁,很適合藝術之森的氣氛。在這裏可以免費參觀到有島武郎的珍貴首刷作品以及他的生平事蹟。

Takeo Arishima's Residence was moved from its original location near Hokkaido University to  Sapporo Art Park in 1985. Takeo Arishima is one of the notable novelists of Japanese modern literature, who was active in the early 20th century. He was born in Tokyo, but lived in Sapporo for a long time. Also, most scenes in his novels are based in Sapporo. The color of the residence wall is bright red and it seems to match the atmosphere of Sapporo Art Park. Visitors can see previous first edition books, why he came to Hokkaido, and other examples what he did. Entrance is free of charge.





野幌森林公園 / Nopporo Forest Park


野幌森林公園是橫跨札幌市、江別市、北廣島市的廣大公園。有可以花一整天遊玩的遊憩步道。在這可以觀察各式各樣的動植物,運氣好的話還可以碰到貓頭鷹。公園內的象徵是於1970年所建造,標高100公尺的高塔。冬天只要準備雪上專用鞋也可以在這享受冬季的北海道風光。從新札幌車站到這裡需要搭巴士15分鐘。

Nopporo Forest Park is so vast that it stretches over three cities; Sapporo, Ebetsu and Kitahiroshima. There are some trekking courses to enjoy experiencing nature, and it is possible to find various creatures - especially birds - and beautiful flowers. If you are lucky, you might discover some owls, which are considered in Japan as birds which bring good luck. The landmark symbol of the park is a 100m-high monumental tower. This was built in 1970 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Hokkaido's prefectural government. It is possible to visit in winter, although suitable winter clothing and shoes are necessary. It takes about 15 minutes by bus from Shin-Sapporo Station.





札幌藝術之森 / Sapporo Art Park


札幌藝術之森(位於札幌市南區)是位於札幌的藝術據點,內有繪畫·雕刻·陶器·木工·版畫等藝術作品。雖然附設的停車場需停車費但如果是搭公車前往園區是免費入場的。雖然常設的戶外美術館和特別企劃的展覽會需付費,但也有可免費參觀藝術作品的展覽會和區域。其佔地非常廣大因此可花一整天參觀。是個可同時體驗「觀賞&創作」的觀光景點。

Sapporo Art Park (Sapporo City Minami-ku) is a mainstay of art in Sapporo. It covers various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, woodcraft, printing and more. Admission is free but there is a parking fee. There are many buses going there. The Sculpture Garden, which is a large open space outdoor museum, is a paid spot. They also hold special and planned exhibitions which charge an admission fee. However, there is a lot of artwork to enjoy without paying. Visitors can enjoy a full day through a year.

野幌森林公園自然接觸交流館 / Nopporo Forest Park Visitors' Center

野幌森林公園自然接觸交流館(位於江別市)是個位於廣大的公園內可學習野生動植物的設施。設施內使用模型等道具來展示與解說。在這可以免費取得公園內的遊憩步道路線圖。另外也可以免費在工房區體驗製作可發出鳥叫聲的各式笛子。也可使用館內設置的望眼鏡透過窗戶觀察野鳥,也十分有趣。

Nopporo Forest Park Visitors' Center (Ebetsu City) is a facility for people to learn about the different wild creatures and plants living and growing in this vast park. This center exhibits the ecology of nature there, using learning materials such as miniatures and models. Also, visitors can get a free map for the park which shows many trekking courses. They also offer free workshops where visitors can enjoy making handicrafts. One free project for visitors is making a whistle to replicate the twitter of small birds. Bird-watching is another fun activity as the center have some terrestrial telescopes for visitor use.

北海道立埋藏文物中心 / Hokkaido Archaeological Operations Center

北海道立埋藏文物中心(位於江別市)展示著在北海道出土的土器與石器等遺留物。它是以保護、保存、學習日本的繩文時代(距今3000年以上)的埋藏文物為目的,於1999年時建成的。也展示著重要文物的土製面具。也有免費針對兒童的體驗項目(土器或裝飾品的製作、起火體驗)。

Hokkaido Archaeological Operations Center (Ebetsu City) exhibits relics such as ancient earthenware and stone tools which have been excavated in Hokkaido. This center was built in 1999 for several purposes; mainly the protection, preservation and utilization of buried cultural properties which were used in the Jomon period (3000+ years ago). Some important cultural items such as an earthen face-shaped mask, jade accessories and wooden articles with swordfish engravings are shown there. Entrance is free of charge. Visitors, especially children, can also experience making earthenware, ancient accessories and creating fire with a wooden stick and  board for free, too.
